Stree Shakhi Yojana
The Stree Shakti Yojna is an exceptional programme that promotes female entrepreneurship
via the provision of specific benefits and advantages. The Stree Shakti plan is applicable to
women who possess the majority ownership in the firm. Additionally, it is necessary for these
female entrepreneurs to be registered in the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP)
conducted by their particular state agency. The Stree Shakti initiative provides women with a
0.05 percent interest reduction on loans exceeding ₹2 lakh.
The Dena Shakti Scheme
The Dena Shakti Scheme introduced by the Dena Bank offers loans of up to ₹20 lakh
specifically targeted at women entrepreneurs engaged in sectors like as agriculture,
manufacturing, micro-credit, retail outlets, and small companies. The initiative also offers a
discount of 0.25 percent on the interest rate. Female entrepreneurs have the opportunity to
obtain a loan of up to ₹50,000 under the microcredit classification.
Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana Scheme
The Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana, introduced by Oriental Bank of Commerce, allows women
who alone or jointly hold at least 51 percent of the share capital in a proprietary firm to obtain
a loan. Loans ranging from ₹10 lakhs to ₹25 lakhs necessitate collateral. The loan has a
payback period of seven years. The Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana Scheme offers a reduction of
up to 2 percent on the interest rate.
Annapurna Scheme
The Government of India provides loans up to ₹50,000 to women entrepreneurs in food
catering enterprises via the Annapurna Yojana. The borrowed funds may be utilised for
working capital needs, such as the acquisition of utensils, a mixer cum grinder, a hot case, tiffin
boxes, and a working table. This presents a remarkable opportunity for women who already
operate their own cloud kitchen. Upon loan approval, the lender is exempt from making the
first month’s EMI payment. After receiving approval, the borrowed sum must be reimbursed
through 36 monthly payments. The present interest rate can reach a maximum of 12.25%
during a duration of 7 years. The loan is available to anyone aged between 18 and 60.
Mahila Udyam Nidhi Yojana
Introduced jointly by Punjab National Bank and Ministry of Finance. Female entrepreneurs
will receive support in establishing new ventures in the small-scale sector and reviving
financially viable small-scale industrial units. Additionally, existing small-scale industrial units
and service industries seeking to expand, modernise, upgrade technology, or diversify their
operations may also be eligible. Deserving female entrepreneurs can access a soft loan of up to
25% of the project cost, with a maximum limit of Rs.2.5 lakhs per project. The loan repayment
period is 10 years, including an initial moratorium period of no more than five years.
Eligibility criteria:
Any MSME or Tiny Units, whether existing or new, that are solely pushed by women
entrepreneurs or have a majority of women entrepreneurs are eligible. The project’s expenses
must not beyond Rs.10 lakhs.
Cent Kalyani Scheme
The scheme was launched by Central Bank of India. The objective of the
initiative is to incentivize female entrepreneurs to initiate new projects or enhance/modernize
their current establishments. Both new and existing female entrepreneurs for their micro/small
enterprises. That is, involved in the production of goods and provision of services, such as
handloom weaving, handicrafts, and various professions including doctors, chartered
accountants, engineers, or individuals skilled in art or craft.
Eligibility:
Target Group-New as well as Existing Women entrepreneurs for her Micro / Small
enterprise (as defined under MSME Act- 2006) .i.e engaged in manufacturing and service
activity for eg. Handloom weaving Handicraft, Food-Processing, Garment making etc. etc.
Professionals & Self-employed women – Doctors, Chartered Accountants, and Engineers or
trained in Art or Craft etc. Health /Beauty clinics/Dieticians/Fashion Designing Beauty Parlors
.Small Business-Small lunch/canteen, mobile restaurant, circulating library/ tailoring /Day
Creaches for children ,Tailoring, Typing / STD/ Zerox booth etc.Transport Operators- Three
wheeler /Four wheeler . (Retail Trade/ Education and training Institute/ Self Help Group not
eligible).
Mahila Samriddhi Yojana
The scheme was introduced by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
implemented through National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation. This
is a programme specifically designed for women that offers a reduction in interest rates, known
as a rebate, within the context of Micro Finance. We give financial assistance up to a maximum
amount of Rs. 1,40,000.
Eligibility: Women from disadvantaged communities, in accordance with government
regulations, whose annual family income is below three hundred thousand rupees.
