About the Scheme:
The Government of Kerala has implemented the Innovation Grant scheme to offer monetary
support to start-ups and entrepreneurs in order to facilitate the transformation of their
inventive concepts into fully established enterprises. The implementation of this initiative is
carried out by the Kerala Start-up Mission, which serves as the central agency of the
Government of Kerala for activities and programs relating to start-ups.

An innovation award is not a monetary reward for simply having an idea. The innovation
award aims to support innovators and entrepreneurs in the development of prototypes or
products, enabling them to expand into fully established enterprises.

Eligibility Criteria:

• In order to be eligible for the Idea Grant, an innovator must have a presence both within and outside of Kerala. Both company incorporation and KSUM unique ID are required for the fund disbursement process.
• In order to be eligible for any other grants, the startup must complete the company incorporation process and obtain KSUM unique ID certification.

• Market Acceleration Grant – Upto 10 lakhs
