About the Scheme
The Government of Kerala has implemented the Seed Support scheme to offer
monetary aid to startups, with the aim of promoting the establishment and growth of
inventive, technology-driven business ventures. This initiative is expected to boost the
economy of Kerala by encouraging the creation of new ventures, generating more
employment opportunities, and attracting private investments. The implementation of this
initiative is carried out by the Kerala Start-up Mission, which serves as the central agency of
the Government of Kerala for activities and programs relating to start-ups. The objective of
this initiative is to prolong the duration of the moratorium period for seed money provided by
Kerala Start-up Mission from one year to two years.
