About the Scheme:
Within four years, the Kerala government hopes to transform 1000 MSMEs (micro, small,
and medium-sized enterprises) into companies with a revenue of Rs. 100 crore through the
Scale Up Mission project. MSMEs will be chosen via an impartial and open procedure.
MSMEs must meet certain prerequisites in order to be considered for the Scale Up Mission.
These include having a UDYAM registration, being registered in Kerala, operating for a
minimum of three years as of March 31, 2023, and participating in manufacturing or service-
related activities.
MSMEs will be able to apply online for the initiative’s selection through the development of
an online portal, and the top 1000 units for the project will be determined by a scoring system
based on data provided on the platform.
Assistance Pattern:
- Capital Investment Subsidy up to 40% (maximum Rs. 2 Cr)
- Interest subvention for working capital loans up to 50% of the interest rate (limited to Rs. 50 Lakhs)
- Financial assistance for preparation of DPR for scale (up to Rs. 1 lakh per Enterprise), special assistance for technology innovation and skills,special assistance in obtaining quality certifications, and priority in all schemes and incentives of the Industries Department
- One to one handholding by assigning an officer from the Industries Department to each selected enterprises to assist them in their various scaling-up related activities.
